1. About Builderswave
Builderswave is a curated directory of apps and tools built by founders in our community. Anyone can browse and discover great apps; makers can submit their work for inclusion. By accessing or using Builderswave, you agree to these terms.
2. Using the directory
Browsing the directory is free and does not require an account. You may not use automated tools (scrapers, bots, crawlers) to extract content in bulk from Builderswave. Product listings, names, logos, and descriptions remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and are reproduced here solely for directory purposes.
3. Submitting a product
Anyone may submit a product for consideration. Submissions are reviewed manually before being published. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or remove any submission at our sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason.
By submitting a product, you confirm that:
- You are authorised to represent the product or its maker.
- The information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
- The product does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
- Any logo or image you upload is either owned by you or you have the right to use it.
Submissions that are spam, promotional only, offensive, or do not meet our eligibility criteria will be rejected. See the Community Rules for eligibility details.
4. Your content
By submitting content (product name, tagline, description, logo), you grant Builderswave a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform and in promotional materials related to the directory. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal at any time by contacting us.
5. Privacy & data we collect
Browsing the directory does not require an account. We collect data in the following ways:
- Usage analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the platform (pages visited, session duration, general location, device type). Google Analytics may set cookies and collect your IP address. You can opt out via your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Outbound link clicks — When you click on a product's website link or an advertisement link, we record that click (product identifier, link type, and timestamp) to measure engagement. No personally identifiable information is stored alongside these events.
- Product submission — When you submit a product, we collect your name and email address solely to process and follow up on your submission. This information is never shared with third parties and is not used for marketing.
Product logos are uploaded to and served from a secure cloud storage provider. We do not sell or rent any data we collect.
6. Newsletter
Builderswave offers a voluntary weekly newsletter containing a digest of new apps, launches, and builder stories from our community. We will only send you this newsletter if you have explicitly opted in via the in-app subscription prompt or the newsletter subscription form.
We store your email address solely for the purpose of sending the newsletter. We do not share, sell, or rent your email address to any third party. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by updating your preference in your account settings. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
7. Intellectual property
The Builderswave name, logo, and platform design are the property of Builderswave. Product names, logos, and trademarks listed in the directory belong to their respective owners. Nothing on this platform constitutes a transfer of intellectual property rights.
8. Disclaimers
Builderswave makes no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any product listing. We are a directory, not an endorsement. Inclusion in the directory does not imply that we have verified all claims made by a product or its makers. Use of any listed product is at your own risk.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of Builderswave after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
